UG opens IT centre at Charity

The University of Guyana’s (UG) Institute of Distance and Continuing Education (IDCE), in its quest to spread the light of learning, recently opened an information technology centre at Charity in Region Two.

The centre is one of several established by the university throughout the country. It is part of the national agenda to promote information technology as a tool to transform the lives of Guyanese. UG Bursar Lloyd Seiram expressed gratitude to the Region Two administration for its part in making the project a reality. He said the facility will be of great benefit to residents of the region.
