Sri Sathya Sai Baba Organisation (Guyana) to host Int’l conference

The Sri Sathya Sai Baba Organisation of Guyana is proud to organise an International Convention on practical spirituality entitled “Divine Showers”. The Sri Sathya Sai Baba Organisation worldwide is a spiritual organisation founded by a spiritual Master Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The message represented in His teachings – “Love All, Serve All”, “Help Ever, Hurt Never”, and “Service to man(kind) is service to God” – are the guiding principles for the organisation. The main mission of the Sai Baba organisation is to help us realise our innate divine nature. The organisation does many activities to promote unity and harmony in society.
The main activities are conducted under three branches: Education (promoting values-based life especially in children and youth); Service – helping our fellow humans is the best one can offer; and Devotion – By glorifying the One Supreme Lord highlighting “Fatherhood of God and Brotherhood of Mankind”.
This historic event will be organised at the Guyana School of Agriculture, Mon Repos East Coast Demerara from August 3 through August 5. This first ever event of such nature is being hosted by Guyana, and will be attended by delegates from other Caribbean countries such as Trinidad & Tobago, Suriname, Barbados, Jamaica, Curacao, USA and Canada. This blessed event “Divine Showers” aims to highlight the practical importance and implication of Sai Baba’s spiritual dictums.
The third day is allocated for service activity and summation of the conference. This conference is to be graced by over 250 International delegates and eminent guests from abroad: – Dr Sunny Anand (Memphis, USA), MBBS, David Cornsweet, Psychotherapist, PhD, FAPA, FCICPP, FACAPP; Board certified Fellow of Psychotherapy; Aparna Murali, and Sunam G. Tenzin (Sikkim, India) – a direct disciple of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Doctor of Philosophy – Buddhism; Assistant Director Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology; a great musician; Leader of numerous youth/ women empowerment & community development programmes.
