Space Shuttle Enterprise to be on permanent display in N.Y.

Guyanese and other Americans cheered the arrival of the Space Shuttle Enterprise which arrived in New York last Friday. Practically everyone looked up into the sky during the mid morning period to catch a glimpse of the shuttle which flew into the city

The shuttle was flown piggyback atop NASA’s specially designed 747. The shuttle took off from Dulles Airport in Virginia and landed at Kennedy Airport around noon on Friday. On the way to Kennedy, it flew over the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, and the

Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum where it will be put on permanent display in June.
