Veteran designer Sonia Noel has once again aptly represented Guyana on the international stage by featuring her highly praised fashion-forward designs.
Noel fashionably incorporated black, white and the colours of the Guyana flag in her collection, featured in Atlanta, US, at an international fashion show held Oct 6 at the Porter Sanford Performing Art Centre.
The designs were high lauded by many notable international designers. The fashion show also featured designers from the USA, Caribbean and Africa.
“It was a great feeling to be the feature designer and having a big article in the Atlantic newspaper. I now have an agent over there and thank God for opening doors every day,” the designer revealed.
The fashion mogul hopes to take her designs worldwide and to continue to represent Guyana in the international fashion industry.
