22-year-old USA-based Guyanese model, actress and designer, Shanice Jones enjoys creating unexpected art by fully committing herself to projects that force her out of her comfort zone or by ripping the runway in designer garments and being committed to selling her pieces. As an actress she is currently shooting a new sitcom that will be called ‘Four Scoops of Sugar’ where she will be one of the main actresses portraying how a strong black woman balances life, love and career. This multi-talented beauty is also the owner of her own self named clothing line; The Shanice Jones Collection which started in August 2010 to bring her vision of becoming a top-class designer to life.
Born in Guyana, South America, Shanice migrated to the USA in 2007. She related that it has always been her dream of being her own boss but never thought it would be possible with her limited resources. She explained “in time while searching for my purpose in life it was made clear in a vision that I needed to put forth all of my hidden talents.” She said her aim is to better herself in all aspects of life.
