Guyana’s representative in this year’s Miss Universe pageant, Katherina Roshana, continues to win hearts and be an ambassador of goodwill for her country.
In the national costume competition, Roshana, in her plumed outfit of wonder representing the Bird of the Rock (aka Cock of the Rock), was a sight to behold, thanks to Derek Moore’s artistry and vision.
When she appeared on stage, the thousands in attendance applauded. With a glowing smile, Roshana, who is sponsored by Limacol/NEW GPC INC, worked the audience – displaying her poise and grace. The Bird of the Rock is only found in the Kaieteur Falls highlands. The legendary bird is non-migratory, and cannot be domesticated or transferred anywhere else.
