Queen’s College and Bishops’ High reign in field events

Queen’s College (QC) and Bishop’s High ruled the contests in the field events of the North Zone Inter-Schools competition at the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) ground yesterday (Wednesday). The events contested included shot put, javelin, discus, high jump, long jump, football in two zones.

In Zone One, QC finished on 480 points, followed by Marian Academy (260), Richard Ishmael (251), and the Government Technical Institute (122).
Bishops’ High topped Zone Two on 338 points, with Christ Church securing second on 182. Chase Academic Foundation was third (173), followed by St John’s College (169), and School of the Nations (132).
So far Bishops’ High are having an excellent competition, finishing second on 177 points in cycling on Tuesday and retaining their swimming title on Monday with 167 points.
