PPP/C Member of Paliament, Bishop Juan Edghill on Friday last, held a ‘town hall meeting’ in New York to sensitise New York-based Guyanese on the current political affairs in Guyana. One of the main topics on the agenda was the President’s unilateral appointment of the new GECOM Chairman.
The meeting was held at the Fair Field Pavillion, South Richmond Hill, New York and saw a fair turnout of concerned Guyanese.
A similar meeting was held in London last Sunday with the Guyanese diaspora there.
Below are some photos from the meetings.
