“Otisha” being questioned by cops

… as Police continue paedophilia investigations

Weeks after publicly claiming to have “one little boy for every day of the week”, the Guyana Police Force has taken popular cross dresser Otis “Otisha” Pearson into custody.
Police in A Division (Georgetown-East Bank Demerara) on Tuesday confirmed that they have arrested Pearson following accusations which were made against him in relation to paedophilia.

Crime Chief Paul Williams when contacted confirmed that the popular (lesbian, gays, bisexual and transgender) LGBT personality was arrested on Monday and is being grilled on the subject matter.
“We received the file from the Child Care and Protection Agency (CC&PA) and we are now investigating the matter officially,” he said.
He could not say how soon charges would be instituted against “Otisha” but is confident in conducting a thorough probe. The arrest came days after the (CC&PA) wrapped up its investigations into the alleged misconduct by Pearson involving underage boys.
In late February, CC&PA’s Director, Ann Green had related that the Agency had gathered statements from a number of persons, including the young man at the centre of the controversy, and as such, the Agency was expected to move ahead with the case.
This incident came to light when Pearson was released from custody after he was implicated in the murder of Hemchand Dalchand, also called “Rakesh” of Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara (ECD) whose body was discovered in the vicinity of Oleander Gardens, ECD.
A pair of slippers and a piece of clothing belonging to the now dead man were also found along the East Coast sea walls. This drew some suspicions by the Police and since Pearson was reportedly the person seen talking to the young man, he was arrested.
He however, refuted claims that he was involved in the murder. Nevertheless, as he attempted to profess his innocence, he appeared on national television during which time he made several inappropriate comments.
One of such comment was that he had “a little boy” for every day of the week. However, after the television programme was aired, he was bashed on social media for the comment; one which he quickly defended, explaining that the term “little boys” was taken out of context.
Soon after, photos of Pearson and a young boy standing in a compromising position appeared on social media. Pearson claimed the boy in the photo was his relative and that he was an adult. This again did not go down well with the public, since a few days later, the child in the photograph appeared on another television station claiming to be 15 years old.
A birth certificate was presented with proved that he was indeed underage. The CC&PA was called in to investigate and the Agency would have wrapped up its probe, handing over the file to the Police in order for them to launch a criminal investigation.
