“You fill out the online application, there are no changes to that particular step, and then afterwards you create an account at www.usvisa-info.com, and you will be provided with a bank slip to take to the Bank of Baroda, you take that there and then you pay the visa fee, they give you your receipt and you use that receipt to schedule your appointment online at the same website or you call 225- 8732,” Abu-Douleh explained.
According to her, the online application process can be done on the U.S. embassy website, where persons are given step by step instructions.
She stressed that the fees are the same, and persons can visit the U.S. embassy website, which was recently updated with a list of the current fees.
Meanwhile, senior manager of the bank’s Georgetown branch Tej Kumar said there are two designated counters for the fees collection at the Georgetown branch, and one counter at the Mon Repos branch. He added that persons have to bring two copies of the deposit slips when visiting the bank to pay the application fees, one of which will be kept for their own record and the other will be presented to the bank.
He clarified that applicants will only have to pay the amount that is mentioned on the deposit slip, since no additional application fees will be requested.
