Laparkan offering customers free shipment for Mashramani

Laparkan Shipping is offering the free shipment of an economy box to Guyana to anyone who ships a barrel before the end of January. The company is a press release to the media says this is a way of offering an incentive to Guyanese who wish to ship cargo back home in time for the Mashramani celebrations.
Laparkan’s Vice President for the northeast United States, Gavin Khan told Guyana Times International that since Mashramani is a special celebration for Guyana “we thought it would not only be an incentive but a benefit to Guyanese to offer the free shipment of an economy box with each shipment of a barrel they are sending home for the Republic celebrations.”
Khan explained that many Guyanese resident abroad travel home for Mash celebrations and usually ship their “goodies” ahead of their travel while others who are not travelling, send gifts home for their loved ones. The company hopes that Guyanese in New York and other areas will take advantage of this opportunity.
