Jamzone Summer Break 2012 to be sizzling

The Hits and Jams team which has been quite tight-lipped about information pertaining to Jamzone Summer Break 2012 has finally revealed their plans and with the line of artistes that are slated to hit Guyana. Patrons can brace themselves for a whirlwind.
As customary, Jamzone is hosted with the most elaborate  concept parties, but the most anticipated activities are the super concerts: regional, chutney, international and Bollywood. While the dates have not been confirmed for super concerts, the list of artistes has been revealed.
For the Jamzone Regional Night Super Concert, Jamaican Dancehall icon Bounty Killa has been confirmed to perform along with fellow megastars Baby Cham and Konshens.
The Jamzone Chutney Night is back with some of the biggest entertainers in the business! Karma Band, De Hunter, Terry Gajraj, Soca Elvis, Anil B and the Beemers are just a few of the acts heading to Guyana this August for an energy-packed mega concert.
Additional names will be added to both events as time progresses. A host of local performers are also set to grace the stages of both shows.
Yes, we know something is missing, but you’ll just have to wait a little longer for the Jamzone International concert lineup. Rest assured that it will definitely be worth the wait.  We also have great news for the thousands of cricket-lovers nationwide. The HJ team will be hosting another action-packed Jamzone Masters Cup tournament.
An incredible lineup of regional and international cricketers has already been booked to compete against defending champions, the Berbice Titans.
Our local stars will also participate in the tournament, inclusive of but not limited to, Christopher Barnwell, Jonathan Foo, Tyrell Tull and Davendra Bishoo. The teams are upping the ante this year to ensure the second staging undoubtedly provides twice the amount of excitement as the first.
Pageant enthusiasts you are not left out. Plans are already in place for the third staging of the Miss Jamzone International pageant. The Miss Jamzone committee has already confirmed the participation of twelve Caribbean and Latin American delegates, all of whom are well-versed in pageantry.
These are just a few of the Jamzone 2012 plans. Much more is in store and will be revealed in due time. However, one thing is certain: the Jamzone Summer Break 2012 events are not to be missed.
