Guyanese designer showcases her latest collection in New York

New York-based Guyanese designer Shanice Jones launched her Spring/Summer 2013 collection at BK Fashion Weekend at Industry City a few weeks ago.

The theme of her collection “Color Explosion” was inspired by the beautiful shades of colors of the Caribbean and utlized various fabrics such as satin, polyester & spandex to give an elegant, yet sexy feel to the line of clothing.
