Guyana Times/RGI 89.3/89.5/89.7 FM make donation to Catholic Dorm

Guyana Times/ Radio Guyana Inc (RGI) 89.3/ 89.5/ 89.7FM donated several footballs and a quantity of fencing materials to the Charity Roman Catholic Boys Dorm, Essequibo Coast.
The presentation was made on Wednesday at the RGI 89.3/ 89.5/ 89.7 FM facility located at Evergreen, also on the Essequibo Coast.

The footballs will help enhance the dorm’s football programme, while the materials will be used to construct a new fence.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the dorm was Father Umberto Villa, the parish priest. Father Villa noted that the dorm’s team has been doing well recently, with two residents playing for the Guyana National Under 16 football team.
Additionally, eight residents of the dorm were members of the Charity Football team that participated in the recently concluded regional football competition. That team placed first.
