GT&T Berbice announces 14-man squad for Inter-County tournament

The Berbice Cricket Board Junior Selection Committee, under the chairmanship of Leslie Soloman, named a 14-man squad for the upcoming Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Inter-County Under-15 tournament.
The team will be led by promising batsman Joshua Harrichand of Albion with Joel Seetaram as vice captain. The team was selected based on performances in the Tenelec Under-15 Inter-Club and the National Communication Network Inter-Zone tournaments.

On the other hand, the BCB named an elite squad for Under-19 training camp for the upcoming Inter-County Under-19 tournament. The team includes national Under-19 captain Shawn Perriera, Guadakesh Motie-Kanhai, Romario Sheperd and Shimron Hetmeyer, who all played for Guyana last year.

Shimron Hetmeyer, Quacy McPherson, Leon Andrews, Nick Ramsaroop, Avishkar Sewkarran, Parmanand Narine, Sharaz Ramcharran, Devin Baldeo, Arif Chan, Martin Singh, Karamchand Ramnarine, Ashkay Homraj, Hakeem Hinds, Shailendra Shameer, Derek Narine, David Latchaya, Parmanand Ramdhan, ShawnPerriera, Kevon Jawahir, Avinash Wajid, Guadakesh Motie-Kanhai, Suresh Dhanai, Romario Sheperd, Grisean Grant, Nial Smith, Kamesh Sugrim, Brandon Persaud, Daniel Lewis, Kareem Mentore and Darius Nedd.
The elite squad commenced training on Wednesday, in preparation for the Inter-County U-19 three-day and one-day tournaments which begin on April 24.  The squad would be under the supervision of senior coach Julian Moore.
