Greenidge says he’s against Granger’s “One Man Show” in PNCR/APNU

Executive member of the People’s National Congress Reform Carl Greenidge, who is also vying for the position of leader of the party said his rival David Granger should not grab all three key positions in the opposition.
The positions are namely leader of the PNCR, Opposition Leader and Chairman of a partnership for National Unity and PNCR leader. Greenidge made the Comments at a press conference when asked by the media about the opposition leader seeking to contest the three positions.

David Granger

“Given where the PNCR is, it needs someone who can devote most of its attention to PNCR activities most obviously if Mr Granger is Chairman of APNU of which he is he cannot be focusing his attention primarily on the PNCR and his attention should be on APNU and the coordination of APNU/AFC” Greenidge says.
Greenidge notes that the one Delegate cannot wear all the hats in the party because such is not consistent with the party’s constitution. He also revealed his plans for the party once elected leader at the PNCR’s 17th biennial conference slated for July 28 2012.
Greenidge adds that another focus is to rebuild the party and its various organs of which the party will be able to stand as a militant adding that the APNU is not a political party.
Another Executive Member of the party Aubrey Norton said Greenidge is the best man for the Job.
Recently another former executive member of the PNC/R Joseph Hamilton Critized Granger for his decision to contest for the leader of the people’s national congress reform noting that the opposition leader is seeking to become a maximum leader through his desire to grab the power in the PNCR.

Hamilton believes that Granger is not interested in allowing new leaders to take control of the party, but is more concerned about becoming a supreme leader.
