Tiana Fraser, the late Devon Fraser’s sister, told this newspaper that the family received the news of her brother’s demise at about 07:00h on Wednesday.
“Someone called us and informed us about the accident, and that my brother (had) died… Shortly after, officials from the Guyana Defence Force contacted the family and related that he had passed as a result of the injuries he sustained following the accident,” she detailed.
She explained that arrangements are being made for the body to be transported to the airport at Ogle to facilitate a post-mortem in the city.
