Boxing buffs are preparing themselves for what promises to be an evening of electrifying action on May 28 when the Guyana Boxing Board of Control (GBBC) stages ‘Rampage’- a five-fight card with three titles at stake.

There will be two Caribbean Boxing Federation (CABOFE) belts, as well as one Guyana title up for grabs at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

Local sensation Dexter ‘The Kid’ Marques will collide with overseas-based Guyanese Elton ‘Coolie Bully’ Dharry for the CABOFE Bantamweight title over 12 rounds, while the Guyanese pair of Lennox ‘Too Sharp’ Allen and Kwesi ‘Lightning Hitman’ Jones will square off for the CABOFE Super Middleweight belt in 12 rounds.

The heavyweight title of Guyana will be at stake when Mitchell Rogers and Kurt Bess go head-to-head in another 12-rounder.

Apart from these three high-profile encounters, two other bouts are carded for the evening, with action set to get cracking at 20:00h at Guyana’s premier indoor facility.

Edmond De Clou will engage Winston Pompey in a six-round super middleweight clash, while Ray Sandiford will make his professional debut against Cecil Smith in a four-round contest.
