Everest Masters beat Guyana-UK CC by 6 wickets

Everest Masters defeated the Guyana-UK Cricket Club from London in a friendly T20 game played at Everest Cricket Ground on Friday November 10, 2017.
Batting first the visitors posted 109 for 8 off their 20 overs with Navin Persaud hitting an attractive 65 (2×6; 3×4) and Raj Nanan supporting with 16 (1×6; 1×4).
Former Guyana First Class player, Rohan Sarjoo was the best bowler for the Everest Masters with 3 for 18 while the experienced Johnny Azeez bagged 2 for 21.
In the run chase, Everest Masters got 37 from Shadeo Hardaiow who hit one six and three fours while Troy Gonsalves hit a whirlwind 36 (2×6; 1×4) on their way to 111 for 4 and the six wicket victory.
Navin Persaud showed his all-round capabilities by picking up 2 for 23 to win the Man of the Match award which was sponsored by Trophy Stall.
The victors added the Guyana UK Cricket Club-sponsored trophy to their collection and in turn presented the London based team with a plaque in recognition of their visit to Everest compliments of Trophy Stall.
The Guyana UK Cricket Club also presented the Everest Cricket Club with cricket gears, balls and a clock.
