Guyanese designer Andrew Harris debuted his most comfortable casual collection, ‘AH Casuals’ at the recently-held elite fashion event, the Cayman Islands Fashion Week.
The collection comprises eight new looks, which were fused with the designer’s ‘2013 Spring Summer Collection’, for a spectacular showcase on the event’s runway. Harris told Guyana Times Sunday Magazine that his collection “appeals to a younger audience and for those young at heart; it’s very modern, trendy and easy to wear, and dares men to be bold.
“I will also launch the Andrew Harris Collection in Suriname on May 19, 2013, at the Wyndam Garden Hotel in Paramaribo, the event is themed ‘Suave Suriname’ and will feature the extended ‘Spring Summer Collection’ and ‘AH Casuals’. Thereafter, I will be heading to Caribbean Style and Culture 2013 in Washington DC, where I’m being honoured with the Award of Excellence- Fashion and Innovation. This award exemplifies the innovation of Caribbean fashion through unique and compelling designs, production and presentation,” he disclosed.
