After Magistrate, Charlyn Artiga announced that a prima facie case was made out against the five men charged for the killing of Berbice carpenter; Faiyaz Narinedatt, Attorney for the accused will now be required to lead his defence. The East Ruimveldt hairdresser who was on Sunday last intercepted with 100 cocaine pellets stashed in her vagina and stomach appeared before the Chief Magistrate on Thursday and was jailed for four years. Fine-tuning at CJIA

The Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) conducted trial runs of the new Arrival Terminal and Boarding Bridges recently to ensure that all systems regarding passenger treatment and loading conditions at the airport are satisfactory. The first test was conducted with approximately 286 passengers who arrived on a Fly Jamaica aircraft and were processed within two hours.
