Berbice comfortably retained their El Dorado 50-Over Inter-County title at the Albion Community Centre ground on September 25. Demerara had played unbeaten in the preliminary rounds before stumbling at the final hurdle. Guyana’s lone participant at the South American Junior Track and Field Championships, Stephan James, will be bringing home a bronze medal when he returns this week after placing third in the 400m in Colombia on Saturday.
