The mother of eight-year-old Emmanuel King, who was strangled to death in February 2016, on Tuesday confessed to the crime before Justice Navindra Singh when she made her appearance at the Demerara High Court. With an estimated 30,000 Venezuelan migrants now in Guyana, their vulnerability to various types of abuse and exploitation is high.
