Busta Champion of Champions begins Saturday

-Guyana Beverage Company on board with RTHY&SC for eighth year in succession

Eight clubs from Berbice will begin the battle for supremacy on Saturday, September 10 when the eighth staging of the Busta Champion of Champions 50- Over Cricket competition, organised by the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RTHY&SC), begins at four venues in the Ancient County.

Guyana Beverage Company, under its Busta brand, yesterday renewed its partnership with the RHTY&SC, and will be the exclusive sponsor of the event, which has a top prize of Gy$80,000.

The teams vying for top honours are Blairmont, Memorex Bermine, Young Warriors, Edinburgh, Skeldon, Police, Rose Hall Town Gizmos and Gadgets, and Port Mourant.

Secretary/CEO of the Club, Hilbert Foster, said, that over the past seven years, Guyana Beverage Company has invested millions into the knockout tournament, which has become a household name in the county.
