Eighteen-year-old Caozuyag Menug and his 15-year-old brother appeared on Monday in Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan’s Court on a charge of raping an 11-year-old girl.
They reportedly engaged in sexual penetration of this under-16 girl between October 1 and 31, 2017 at Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara (EBD).
The court heard that another teen, a 13-year-old male, is also shortly expected to be charged with the said offence.
The trio reportedly held the girl against her will and began to feel her breasts and vaginal area. The girl reportedly put up a fight, and the trio allegedly held her down and raped her. Thus the matter was reported to the Police.
The brothers were each released on G$70,000 bail, and will return to court on July 27.
