As Chutney Final heats up…Essequibo singers for chutney finals ready for the challenge

Essequibian chutney singers Haresh Singh and Dennis Tatpaul are very optimistic about the upcoming Chutney Final competition, which is slated for February 19 at the Anna Regina Ground. The two proud Essequibians said they are ready for the challenge and will do what it takes to make their ‘Cinderella County’ recognized and proud. Haresh said he composes his own songs and will be competing with much confidence. He said he is well prepared for the competition and will make Essequibians proud

He has won several karaoke competitions, including the chutney crown.

Tatpaul is also aiming for the coveted crown. Dennis, who started singing gospel songs in church, said his chutney song is based on his first love.

hoping to make Essequibo proud this year. Tatpaul is urging his fellow Essequibians to come out and support him. The singer said that singing has become an important part of his life, and he is doing everything to nurture it.
