Award-winning Guyanese designer Andrew Harris Jr., currently residing in Barbados, has finally launched the widely-anticipated Spring/Summer 2013 collection ‘Antithesis’ with pomp and flair under ‘The Andrew Harris Collection’ signature brand.
The visionary designer, who has been lauded throughout the Caribbean as the “prince of Caribbean fashion design”, launched his chic, masculine collection Dec. 13 in Barbados.
Comfort is one of the main features of this collection, which is why Harris incorporated a mixture of cotton and linen in the designs. Proceeds from the event were donated to the Barbados Cancer Support Services.
Harris’ next venture would be to participate in The Fashion Collective Pop-Up Boutique show during Miami International Fashion Week scheduled for March 20-24, 2013, at the Miami Beach Convention Centre.
