First Oil for Guyana expected in December – Hess

The much-anticipated commercial oil production offshore Guyana, which was initially slated for 2020, has been brought forward, with Hess Corporation, one of the partners in the oil-rich Stabroek Block, saying production will now start in December – less than two months away. WCD toddler found dead in canal

A family of Harlem, West Coast Demerara (WCD) is mourning the death of their youngest member after her lifeless body was pulled out of the canal at the back of their home. The toddler, 18-month-old Aleena Mohamed was discovered around 18:30h on Monday after she went missing a few hours before. Man found guilty of murdering uncle

Twenty-nine-year-old Dwayne Tappin was on Friday found guilty by a 12-member jury for murdering his uncle back in 2017 at Better Hope, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
