Some nine months after signing a multimillion-dollar Line of Credit (LOC) with the Indian Government for the upgrade of three primary healthcare facilities in Guyana, the Government of Guyana is now in the process of selecting a consultancy firm to oversee the project. The Women’s Progressive Organisation (WPO) paid tribute to former President, the late Janet Jagan by way of a wreath-laying ceremony on the occasion of her ninth death anniversary on Friday last.
