Guyana has welcomed the recently completed first round of talks on migration at United Nations Headquarters as “a milestone in the global migration dialogue”. Former Bishops’ High School teacher, Coen Jackson, was on Thursday morning arraigned at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and charged with rape of child. Two years after a 22-year-old Cane Grove father of one was brutally beaten to death by a group of men, one of the key suspects has been deported to Guyana from the United States of America.
