Daughters among four charged with brutal murder of pensioner

The biological and adopted daughter of 64-year-old Roger Manikam whose gagged body was found along the Coldingen Railway Embankment, East Coast Demerara (ECD) were on Thursday jointly charged along with two other males for murder. Appeal Court orders retrial of Lusignan Massacre accused

After a 12-member jury panel found Mark Royden Williams and James Anthony Hyles not guilty in August 2013 for the murders of 11 persons, including five children, during the 2008 Lusignan Massacre, the Appellate Court has ruled that a retrial be held.
