The Linden Museum of Industrial and Socio-Cultural Heritage on Co-op Crescent in Mackenzie, is located in one of Linden’s most historic buildings, according to the National Trust of Guyana. The Government will “not condone” multinational companies operating locally in breach of the laws of Guyana. This is according to Minister within the Social Protection Ministry, Keith Scott, who has responsibility for labour. Police investigators have managed to arrest one person while the hunt is one for another, following the shooting of a West Bank Demerara (WBD) businessman during a robbery on Monday night. Lennox Baharally and Rondell Edwards were remanded to prison after they made an appearance at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan to answer a joint murder charge.
