An East Coast Demerara man was fined $100,000 when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan and pleaded guilty to a fraud charge. Businessman charged for stealing truck, chainsaws from BaiShanLin

A Kwakwani businessman was released on Gy$400,000 bail on Tuesday when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts accused of stealing millions of dollars in items from Chinese-owned logging company BaiShanLin.
