Guyanese-Americans and South Asians from the greater Richmond Hill area of Queens organised a fundraising dinner for Democrat mayoral candidate Bill DeBlasio, an Italian-American. 21,000 Guyanese obtained U.S. visas in past year, says ambassador

Approximately 35,000 U.S. visa applications have been processed in the past year, U.S. Ambassador to Guyana D Brent Hardt disclosed.
