32 complete GCC cricket camp

Rahim cops silver in 59kg Men’s Junior category

Guyanese Vijai Rahim turned in a silver medal performance in the 59kg Men’s Junior category at the South American Powerlifting Championships, which commenced this week in Cali, Colombia. The Berbician totalled 547.5kg, bettering his previous best of 507.5kg at the Caribbean Championships, but was edged out by Ecuador’s L. Nieto, who finished with 552.5kg.
