Serious crimes decreased by two per cent – police

Serious crimes have decreased by two per cent at the end of October this year in comparison to last year, the police said in a statement on Wednesday. According to police, there have been 3160 reports of serious crimes made by October 31 this year, compared to 3229 during the corresponding period. Some of the offences monitored are murder, robbery under arms, robbery with violence, larceny from the person, break and enter and larceny, burglary, rape and kidnapping.
