A man was on Monday, March 19, placed before acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry for threatening to chop his mother. Paul Smith appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts to answer to the charge of threatening behaviour. The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has significantly improved the way it measures development impact and tracks the performance of its projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, according to the bank’s 2011 report, Development Effectiveness Overview.
