Twenty karatekas departed the Cheddi Jagan International Airport on Monday night en route to Canada where they will represent Guyana at the first International Karate Daigaku World Cup tournament until July 9. Sri Lanka batsman Kumar Sangakkara made a return to the No. 1 spot in the ICC Test batting rankings after scoring a big century against Pakistan in the drawn Test at the SSC.
