Guyana inks Gy$1B food security project with Canadian university

McGill University of Canada on Tuesday formalised a CDN$5 million (Gy$1,025,845,920) partnership agreement with the Agriculture Ministry to start a research project aimed at helping Guyana improve its production, health and nutritional value of crops over the next three and a half years. EAB gets Gy$43.4M to observe polls

The Electoral Assistance Bureau (EAB) has received a grant of Gy$43.4 million from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID/Guyana), for monitoring this year’s general and regional elections in Guyana.
